They’ve announced midfielder Anton Walkes has been loaned out to MLS side Atlanta United for six months as he continues his development, helping the side prepare for their first campaign within the American elite. A talented holding presence in the engine room, the 19-year-old made his first-team debut in the EFL Cup against Gillingham earlier this season.
With Spurs’ first choice midfield so stocked right now, the Lilywhites propping up the bar are happy to see Walkes get the chance to bank some first-team games.
