Having watched their side at least keep up the faint hope they could catch Chelsea at the top of the league last night, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are in good spirits.
A late comeback against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium indicated just how much belief Mauricio Pochettino has instilled in his players and the north London locals hope next year is a season in which they can genuinely challenge for the Premier League title.
So, reports from the Daily Mirror have gone some way into furthering that belief. According to their report, Spurs are the latest club to show an interest in RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, following his heroic exploits over in the Bundesliga.
Though our Spurs-mad punters are happy with the likes of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama in central midfield as it is, they’d love to see Keita arrive to pad out the squad for the Champions League.
