Tottenham fans here in the Tavern are hoping their side can secure an all-important top-four spot, after witnessing the heroics in this season’s European competition.
Spurs have enjoyed one of their most successful Premier League seasons in years gone by, as they look on course for achieving a top-four spot and have an outside chance of bringing Champions League glory back to North London. Indeed, after already beating the likes of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the European competition thus far, the Lilywhites may not be too far away from causing another huge upset against Italian giants Juventus.
However, with other teams likely to strengthen in the summer transfer window in their search for glory next season, Spurs will be looking to bring in some additions of their own. And, it appears as if Dortmund’s injury-plagued star Marco Reus is catching their eye, as they’re ready to bid for the German in the summer months.
Sadly, the 28-year-old has suffered from many injuries over the past couple of seasons, that’s caused for him to miss out on some valuable minutes with his current club. Indeed, this means that Spurs could end up paying a substantial amount of money for a player that could quite easily spend most of his Tottenham career on the sidelines.
