Forget Zaha: Tottenham should look to move for £9m-rated Crystal Palace man instead this summer

Tottenham fans here at the Transfer Tavern are firmly focused on their upcoming move to their new home. The new ground will be home to 62,000 Spurs fans – who will look forward to witnessing a great Tottenham team.

Despite playing at the dreaded Wembley Stadium this year whilst the new ground is being completed, Tottenham have had a good campaign. Although it was always a long shot winning the Premier League, their Champions League dreams look set to carry on as Mauricio Pochettino has guided them into the top four.

In order to keep this stability going, Tottenham would be smart to move for London rivals Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic – who is valued at £9.00 million according to Transfermarkt. Although the 26-year-old isn’t a world class midfielder, the tough enforcer has come on leaps and bounds for Palace this season whilst scoring eight goals from central midfield.

The dead-ball specialist has a real desire that makes him a top competitor and athlete to play against. Thus far, Milivojevic has played in all bar two Premier League games for the relegation-threatened Palace and added a number of important goals during those outings.

Tottenham over the past few years have had a real solid starting 11 but apart from that, have struggled to compete with the very top teams due to the lack of depth to their squad. Adding Luka Milivojevic would provide just that as Tottenham look to grow even further as a club these next coming seasons.

Us punters are firmly for this idea because although Milivojevic isn’t a name anyone is shouting about, he quietly gets about his business and could be a great player for Tottenham.
