Tottenham Hotspur failed to extend their unbeaten run in their last outing as they were beaten 2-1 by Watford at Vicarage Road.
The London club need to bounce back after such a disappointing defeat against high-flyers Watford prior to the international break. Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino has worked wonders in the current campaign despite a disappointing summer transfer window, but it’s clear to see that improvements are still required.
However, the Tottenham Hotspur boss will need to think about the futures of a couple of his players as he can’t afford to be carrying any deadweight.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO men that should never feature for Tottenham Hotspur again…
The winger was sent out on loan to fellow Premier League side Burnley for the second half of the campaign, but he couldn’t even enjoy many minutes on the field at Turf Moor.
And, it’s safe to say that he has struggled to work his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in the current campaign, as he still waits for his first inclusion in the Premier League.
However, with players now returning to full fitness and a settled side at the Argentine’s disposal, the Frenchman could be frozen out of the side until the January transfer window.
Moussa Sissoko has been questioned at times during his Tottenham Hotspur career having lacked consistency. And, things haven’t changed in the current campaign as the Frenchman has struggled to break into the side after featuring against Newcastle United.
Therefore, the midfielder could be on his way out of the club in January and may not feature again under Mauricio Pochettino unless an injury occurs.
