‘Good news’ – Tottenham fans react on Twitter after club delivered important update

Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely gutted with their club’s latest injury update on star man, Harry Kane. Kane’s expected to be out injured until next month according to Spurs official Twitter account, after sustaining ankle ligament damage during the Lilywhites’ 4-1 win away at Bournemouth on Sunday.

Whenever Harry Kane goes down, Spurs fans hold their breath and hope he’ll get back up. That alone outlines his importance to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as well as his 35 goals in 39 appearances for Spurs this season. Tottenham fans will be hoping he can recover in similar time to last season as key fixtures in both the FA Cup and Premier League have the potential to make or break Spurs’ season after their crushing Champions League exit at the hands of Juventus last week. The bigger question for most fans is that of the World Cup, as thousands of England fans will hope Kane can be back to his best for the summer’s trip to Russia:

Here’s what the local Lilywhites’ make of the update:
