Image: Spurs favourite becomes a part of British history

The Transfer Tavern’s Tottenham drinkers are wondering what life will be like once Brexit fully comes into effect.

After last summer’s referendum, Prime Minister Teresa May triggered Article 50 yesterday, officially starting the process to remove Great Britain from the European Union.

She also signed an official letter to formally begin the UK’s departure yesterday and as our Spurs patrons all know, manager Mauricio Pochettino has never been one to pass up the opportunity to be photographed alongside someone laying down their signature.

In fact, the White Hart Lane gaffer has become notorious for his seemingly identical expression and attire whenever a Spurs player signs a new contract, which has been happening at a rate of around two per week this season.

Accordingly, the internet’s been doing what the internet does best today – photoshopping Pochettino in next to the Prime Minister to make him a part of British history. Nicely done, internet.
