Insider: Tottenham boss open to move to European giants PSG

Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have always tended to be nervous at this time of year after seeing their prized assets depart in the looming summer transfer window.

That’s understandable enough and while it tends to have been players in the past, reports from France suggest it could be their manager the North London side are at risk of losing.

Mauricio Pochettino has done a remarkable job in charge since joining from Southampton in 2014, leading the club to an unlikely challenge while bringing through young players.

The meteoric rise of stars such as Harry Kane and Dele Alli under his tutelage have seen the Argentine linked with jobs at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Reportedly under no rush to agree a new deal at White Hart Lane, the former Espanyol coach has now been touted as a potential candidate for the Paris Saint-Germain job.

Having played for the Parisians during his earlier career, the former Argentina defender is said to have retained an interest in the French capital, according to reports in France via Eurosport.

Journalist Daniel Riolo claims the 44-year old often tells him he would be willing to return to the Parc De Princes.

Though current PSG boss Laurent Blanc only penned a two-year deal recently, their elimination at the hands of Manchester City in the Champions League is thought to have cast his future into doubt.

They are believed to have made an approach for the out of work Jose Mourinho as they bid to make a mark on the continental game.

Could you really see Pochettino at PSG? Can Spurs afford to lose him?
