The blazing feelings of optimism amongst the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are burning ever brightly tonight.
Despite their end of season collapse last term, Mauricio Pochettino’s vibrant and expansive young side show little signs of fizzling out, having recently beaten Manchester City.
Though many of the first-team stars still have their whole careers ahead of them, even their burgeoning young talents are causing the north London locals reasons to celebrate.
Huge excitement is buzzing around the developing Marcus Edwards on Hotspur Way, with Pochettino even drawing early comparisons between the talented teen and Lionel Messi.
