It’s hard to pretend that Tottenham wouldn’t be a good home for Aaron Ramsey

Tottenham had made their best start to the Premier League season in a long time but recurring errors such as not signing enough players and losing silly games has kept them behind the likes of City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

There is no doubting that Spurs have an extremely strong starting 11 and it would be hard to hand-pick improvements in that team.

Nevertheless, it has to be done as Tottenham are consistently challenging for the top four and secure a Champions League place, but then they fail to build on that and launch a title challenge for instance.

That could all be forgotten if they went and signed a player of Aaron Ramsey’s quality, who is set to leave Arsenal for free at the end of the season.

Ramsey, who is valued at £40.5 million on Transfermarkt, will be attracting attention from the majority of top teams from around the world this summer and somehow, arch-rivals Tottenham have to push themselves to the forefront of that cue.

That simply is because the Welshman would be a vast improvement on the midfield options they currently have and genuinely could be the difference between a title challenge and not.

The 27-year-old hasn’t let contract talks put him down this season, he was even the man to round off Arsenal’s beautiful team goal against Fulham.  Indeed, as well as providing three assists, it’s clear to see that Ramsey isn’t slowing down his contribution in games, if anything he’s getting better with age.

Tottenham would love to secure another previous Arsenal favourite and they must look to sign Aaron Ramsey given the chance this summer.
