No one needs telling that Tottenham’s move to their fabulous new stadium is a sign of a new era at the club.
Indeed, their £1bn new home is a thing of beauty and the Mauricio Pochettino project appears primed and ready to hit its next phase after reaching the Champions League semi-final in the most dramatic of fashion, with Spurs now looking like genuine European heavyweights.
The imminent last-four clash with Ajax is obviously the major thing on Tottenham’s agenda right now but half an eye does need to go on next season. Yes, the next two games in the continent’s elite competition can be era-defining for the North London giants, but the transfer shackles need to come off in the summer if Pochettino is really going to scale things up for Daniel Levy.
Well, right now, there’s little to no news on that front.
Still, while the footballing community awaits the arrival of the proverbial silly season this summer, Spurs fans may have been treated to a little something ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
The images above leaked online appearing to show the club’s new kit for the first full season in their new stadium and, it’s fair to say, they look great. Somewhat of a throwback to the famous strips donned by Spurs teams of the past, it’s the perfect blend of the club’s past and the exciting future ahead in what has to be considered the world’s best football stadium.
