Levy handed difficult dilemma as Tottenham aim to keep star man

Though remain unbeaten in the Premier League, the Tottenham Hotspur fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern don’t quite know what to make of their season so far.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have retained the solid foundations that partly made up their title challenge last term, though appear to have lost some attacking intent, drawing far too many games.

The absence of Harry Kane has left a gaping hole in their attack, though the England international has recently returned to the first-team, scoring in the North London Derby.

Still, the nature of life without him has worried those on Hotspur Way, with reports from the Daily Telegraph only coming as a further blow.

They claim the 23-year-old is ready to demand upwards of £120k-per-week to commit his long-term future to his boyhood charges, a weekly sum that would smash the wage structure in play at White Hart Lane.

A number of first-team stars have recently penned new extensions, though Kane is understood to want paying up.

While he is reportedly in no rush to leave, he’s said to be aware that he could comfortably earn in excess of £200k weekly should he move on to a European powerhouse.

No Tottenham player currently earns more than a £100k-per-week, providing Levy with a difficult decision indeed.

Will Spurs be able to keep a hold of Kane? Let us know below…
