Ahead of their venture into the Champions League, the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted to hear the club have already put one over on their fierce London rivals.
According to Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws (via VoetbalKrankt) Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi favours a move to North London over one to West Ham.
The forward has been one of the most talked about individuals of the burgeoning 2016 summer transfer window thus far, emerging as a target for both capital counterparts.
With the Hammers due to make their exciting stadium move within weeks, the East London outfit werereportedly identifying the 22-year old as a marquee name to mark their arrival at the Olympic Stadium.
Spurs are also understood to be strongly interested in luring him to North London as they bid to draft in quality reinforcements for star man Harry Kane.
However, it is now claimed that while the former Standard Liege marksman is eager to move to White Hart Lane, the club are unwilling to shell out big bucks for him.
Should Spurs splash the cash on Batshuayi?
