Vincent Janssen

Ahead of their venture back into the Champions League, the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern are dreaming with wide eyed wonderment about who will arrive to help their cause.

The North London outfit have been strongly linked with a £12m move for Dutch international Vincent Janssen as manager Mauricio Pochettino aims to draft in high quality backups for Harry Kane.

However, according to Voetbal Primeurboth Manchester United and London rivals West Ham United are keen on scuppering Spurs’ deal for the prolific 22-year old.

He notched 27 goals for AZ Alkmaar last term, reportedly also attracting the glances of Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

Incoming Red Devils chief Jose Mourinho is thought to view the Oranje marksman as a welcome addition to the rebuild project he is due to undertake at Old Trafford.

Still, the report goes onto claim that White Hart Lane remains the most likely destination, with the player himself having visited the club.

Will Janssen remain as lethal in the Premier League?
