Manager doubts forward with Tottenham return weighed up

It was a return to winning ways for the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern, who watched on in delirious delight as their side smashed Swansea City 5-0.

As bad as the Swans were at times, it was refreshing for our north London locals to see their beloved side back to their best under Mauricio Pochettino.

Still, reports emanating out of France have given those from Hotspur Way cause for concern.

According to L’EquipeMarseille are considering ending Clinton N’Jie’s loan spell at the Stade Velodrome after the Cameroonian failed to make an impact in France.

Our Spurs supporting locals aren’t too surprised, with the former Lyon man failing to live up to expectation during his year at the club.

Manager Rudi Garcia reportedly feels the African speedster and his club are on different wavelengths, with the 23-year-old having notched just once during his stint with Les Phocéens thus far.

His attitude is said to have been called into question, which is no surprise to the Tottenham faithful propping up the bar this evening.
