Daniel James has praised the impact of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his development as a player, in an exclusive with NBC Sport.
James gave an insight into Solskjaer’s management style as part of the television network’s premier show, ‘Inside the Mind.’
Speaking to NBC, the Welshman said: “He’s been unbelievable with me and I’ll always thank him for that. I never expected him to have that belief in me at the start of the season and when things haven’t gone so well for me.”
He added: “When I’m down he always picks me up and the other players.”
The youngster went on to heap praise on his teammate Bruno Fernandes as well as discussing life under lockdown rules.
Ever since he arrived at Old Trafford from Swansea City for £15.3m last summer, the 22-year-old has been backed to reach the top level of the game, and he has scored 3 goals in his first full season in the Premier League, and provided the highest amount of assists in the English top flight for Solskjaer’s side so far.
As expected, lots of United supporters raved over his comments on social media, with one fan remarking “the Prem ain’t ready.”
