It promises to be an emotional day at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon as the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern prepare to say their final goodbye.
Manchester United roll into town to give the famous north London venue a fitting send off and the Lilywhites propping up the bar are desperate to see their side remain unbeaten all season at home.
So, confirmation from the club’s official Twitter account stating England international Danny Rose will miss the last ever game at WHL hasn’t gone down too well at all.
TEAM NEWS: Danny Rose (knee) – Continues to be monitored, having returned to full training earlier this week but is not yet match fit. pic.twitter.com/Zh1tRbBMMY

The England international has returned to full training after months out with a knee injury, though the final game at the Lane comes just too soon for the left-back.
Though Ben Davies has improved in recent weeks when deployed on the left, Rose’s absence is both a shame to the spectacle and a blow to the first-team.
