Spurs fans here in the Tavern are looking for some vast improvements, after some of their key players have become complacent.
Tottenham made their name as one of the early contenders for the title, as a run of inspired performances had Lilywhites in dreamland, but now 2 months on these predictions have been swiftly retracted with their latest position being less than impressive.
Although they’ve managed to secure top spot in their Champions League group, the real problem lies in the consistency of some of their key players, with Christian Eriksen being one of the notable stars who’s allowed complacency to creep in.
However, with Christmas just around the corner, Spurs fans will be hoping to end the year high in spirits in what is a busy festive period. With the weekend’s game approaching, the club took to Twitter to publish a festive themed video that saw some of their players take on footballing challenges, in an attempt to lift the mood by offering to give back to supporters.
Paulo Gazzaniga, take a bow!
The lads take on a festive football challenge to win Members and Supporters Clubs some great #SpursXmas gifts!
