An unbeaten start to life in the Premier League has had the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern dancing on the pool tables.
After an end of season collapse last term, the North London locals have renewed their title hopes once more after some strong results since the start of the campaign.
Now, those on Hotspur Way have further reason to celebrate following quotes (sourced from BBC Sport) from manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Star forward Harry Kane was ruled out with an ankle injury last week, with many expecting the 23-year-old to miss up to two months.
However, the Argentine has revealed scan results are a lot more positive than initially thought in regards to the extent of the England man’s injury.
“It’s a very positive scan, we are very happy,” beamed the 44-year-old.
No return date has been set in stone, though having the poster boy in Pochettino’s project back in the squad will be a huge boost to the Lilywhites.
The likes of summer signing Vincent Janssen and the in-form Heung-min Son have deputised in his stead so far, though Kane looked to be hitting a purple patch after a dreadful summer at Euro 2016.
Can Spurs keep up a title challenge? How important is Kane to that? Let us know below…
