Pochettino reignites major interest in playmaker as Spurs look to seal coup

It’s not long to go until the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern get to see the side that thrilled them so often last season return to the field, though they are hoping for some extra reinforcements.

With Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen on board already, the fact that Champions League football is on the horizon has made the North London locals hungry for more.

Having said that, reports emanating out of France today claiming Mauricio Pochettino is ready to rekindle his interest in an exciting playmaker have come as music to their ears.

France Football suggest that Lille winger Sofiane Boufal, who has been touted as a potential target for a number of clubs this summer, has attracted the Argentine’s glances.

Despite the 22-year old’s injury ruling him out for at least another month, Spurs are said to have kept their interest in the playmaker strong after seeing a move for Marseille forward Georges-Kévin N’Koudou stall.

How good is Boufal? Would he be a coup for Spurs? Let us know below…
