Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Transfer Tavern are loving how the Champions League table is looking at the moment.
Spurs are enjoying a successful time in Europe this season, currently joint top of their group and with an identical points tally and goal difference to Real Madrid, our landlord believes that when the two face each other in game week, four the winner will surely gain the advantage in the group for finishing in top spot.
A chance to secure qualification is a big carrot to dangle for this Spurs team but their star striker is currently out with a niggle and after missing the defeat to Man United at weekend, the regulars think about would Pochettino be inclined to risk Kane in an effort to ease up in the final two rounds of the group stages.
The other angle to look at is for Tottenham with home advantage to play for the draw without Kane in the side. Many of our punters believe the risks of playing Kane far outweighs the risk of not playing him and to gain pole position to finish in top spot would also mean an easier draw in the first knockout stage.
With some big Premier League games coming up, surely Spurs can afford not to risk aggravating his hamstring problems?
Spurs fans, what are your thoughts, is it worth the risk?
