Tottenham Hotspur are keen to continue to build their side as they look to compete across all competitions next season and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited to learn about one of their targets.
Spurs look set to be in the Champions League again next year, should they manage to continue with the results they are producing, and manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to strengthen in the summer ahead of yet another European campaign.
And Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is a player the North London club have been keeping tabs on for a while now, with the 17-year-old possessing the talent and indeed potential that could make an immediate impact despite his age.
The England Under-21 international has been in sensational form for the Craven Cottage side this season, having produced a number of stellar performances that have fired the Londoners into promotion contention.
However, there could be possible problems for Pochettino’s Spurs this summer, as they are not the only side thought to be interested in the £30million-rated teenager, as per The Sun.
And that’s because they report that AS Monaco have joined Spurs and indeed Manchester United in tracking the movements of Sessegnon, whose his displays in the Championship have led to him being tipped for a shock summer call-up to the England squad for this year’s World Cup.
Landlord’s Verdict: Spurs fans in the Tavern will be hoping the club can bring Sessegnon to North London, as they recognise he is a player with a considerable amount of talent and will hope Pochettino can guide him to bigger and better things.
However, the locals may be concerned that the youngster may decide to remain at Craven Cottage as he would be guaranteed first-team football, or could even be swayed by a possible move to Ligue 1 side Monaco, who have reportedly joined the chase for the 17-year-old.
