Tottenham looked like genuine title contenders during the first games of the season but now it seems as if they’re set to just challenge for the top four again.
Harry Kane and co haven’t been at their best and seeing as their top rivals have spent money to improve their team, that is something Spurs have to look into doing as well.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that Tottenham are already planning their first January signing and that could be Barcelona’s Malcom.
This would be an incredible deal potentially for Tottenham seeing as the 21-year-old is a very highly rated Brazilian. His big money move to Barcelona has not gone to plan so far, as Malcom has made just two appearances.
Tottenham already have a great deal of quality in their squad so what could the potential arrival of Malcom mean for the current players…
Son could find himself benched
Heung Min Son has had a hectic summer and his form for Tottenham this season hasn’t quite been up to his usual standards.
The 26-year-old is undoubtedly a quality winger but with Malcom hungry to prove his quality, he could be the man to step aside for the quality youngster.
Harry Kane will soon be scoring more goals
With 12 goals and eight assists last season, it’s safe to say that Malcom isn’t a stranger to contributing in attack, something that will excite Harry Kane.
The Englishman already has five goals in eight appearances but those figures could get much better with the quality of Malcom providing balls into Kane.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
