Potential Tottenham deal close with player reportedly traveling imminently

With the signing of Davinson Sanchez getting Tottenham Hotspur off the mark in the market, the fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see more arrivals.

Indeed, with Spurs having gone through a relatively quiet window, our local Lillywhites are keen on a late flurry of activity on Hotspur Way.

So, reports emanating out of Argentina have gone down rather well tonight.

According to Cielo SportsJuan Foyth’s move to Spurs is practically a ‘fact’ and the 19-year-old will reportedly be traveling to England between the end of this week or early next week.

The Argentine defender has been linked with both Tottenham and PSG this summer, though is understood to have chosen a move to England, where he will apparently travel ‘imminently’.

Estudiantes are believed to be in line for $10.5m, roughly equating to £8.1m, a relative snip in this market, though Foyth has only played seven league games for his current side.

Though not all that much is known about Foyth, Mauricio Pochettino’s track record in working with young players has left many of our punters seriously excited about his potential.
