By now, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are reasonably used to seeing their side lose some of their best players over the course of the summer transfer window. Particularly to Real Madrid.
Our north London locals propping up the bar have seen the likes of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric depart for the Spanish capital in recent years, making the notion of any interest from Los Blancos in their players a scary one. Which is why recent reports suggesting Hugo Lloris had attracted glances from the Spanish capital sent a shiver down their spines.
However, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has today provided our local Lilywhites with a transfer boost. Speaking on his Q&A on Twitter, the Sky Sports La Liga guru has revealed the fantastic French stopper is likely to stay on Hotspur Way.

He further explains that Chelsea custodian Thibaut Courtois is an easier target for the Champions League winners, though Manchester United ace David De Gea reportedly remains their priority as Real look to improve between the sticks.
