The Arsenal and Chelsea supporters in the Transfer Tavern are often at each other’s throats over the course of the season, with the capital counterparts amongst the most growing-ever-bitter-rivalries in England.
Indeed, the battles between north and west London are legendary in the Premier League and it doesn’t take an expert to know that the Jose Mourinho-Arsene Wenger rivalry was one that fuelled it between the two clubs.
That’s not to say that it’s all happy families now that the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ has departed for Manchester United, though yesterday’s Community Shield meeting between the Gunners the Blues seemed to show a strange alliance.
During the annual curtain raiser, a chant from all ends of the stadium emerged in unison as both sets of fans seemingly sang ‘We Hate Tottenham’.

Arsenal’s rivalry with Spurs is one of the fiercest in Europe, while Chelsea and Tottenham’s battles seem to get more and more venomous as times go on.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, as they say.
