Lassana Diarra is as common to London as Manchester United fans, with punters in the Transfer Tavern from across the Big Smoke having seen him at close quarters.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder is a free agent after seeing an agreement in Marseille deal triggered, following their failure to qualify for European competition.
Having won the FA Cup with both the Blues and Portsmouth, the 31-year old is well versed in the dark arts of the Premier League and could yet make a return to these isles.
According to the London Evening Standard, he has been offered to both Spurs and Manchester United as his representatives look to secure him a big move.
His form for Les Phocéens saw him work his way back into the French national side and has previously played for the likes of Real Madrid.
On a free deal, the trophy-laden Frenchman could provide good cover both Spurs and the Red Devils on a free deal.
Would Diarra be a good signing as cover? Let us know below..
