Spurs face competiton to land right back

corchia

There is a growing interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as we are provided with a bit of gossip via Talksport who claim that Tottenham Hotspur target Seb Corchia is willing to decide his future at the end of the season.

The full back has long been on the radar of both Spurs and West Ham and has also attracted interest from a host of top European clubs. Having come on leaps and bounds since joining Sochaux in 2011, the right back is now one of the hottest prospects in football.

Obviously all of this has led to speculation over a move from Ligue 1 yet after speaking with France Football the player himself claimed that ‘Now I am only thinking about survival with Sochaux. We will talk about my future in June.’

Should the struggling side go down then a move may well become a certainty and even with survival considering Bayern Munich and Juventus are also amongst the interested parties the lure of a move could prove too much to resist. Spurs of course expect to be able to provide Champions League football next term and this would prove a massive selling point for both the club and Andre Villas Boas.

Do you think Spurs could land the player faced with such competition? Vote in our polls below.
