Spurs hold off PSG interest in lethal £17m chase for Arsenal target after Levy breakthrough

The will-he-won’t-he saga emerging out of the Vincent Janssen to Spurs transfer now look to have taken another twist, much to the delight of the fans camped out in the Transfer Tavern this evening.

Now, according to Football Insider, the North London outfit are FINALLY set to seal a deal for the Dutchman after seeing a £17m offer accepted by AZ Alkmaar.

The 22-year old notched a whopping 32 times in 49 appearances for the Cheeseheads last term, emerging as one of the most prolific marksmen on the continent.

Fierce rivals Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Oranje ace, though it is claimed he has been allowed to travel to White Hart Lane to thrash out a deal with Spurs.

French giants PSG are also thought to have shown a late interest in the forward, though it appears he will link up with Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the club’s venture back into the Champions League.

Is Janssen enough for Spurs?
