Most of the talk from the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern has centred around potential big name recruits this summer ahead of what promises to be a major summer of activity at White Hart Lane.

While the fans propping up the bar tonight are dreading talk concerning player exits, they’ll be delighted to hear the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli are so far safe from transfer talk.

Instead, according to the Daily Star, midfielder Ryan Mason is hopeful of sealing a £2m switch to Premier League rivals Bournemouth after a frustrating season at the club.

His good form for Spurs played his way into the England squad towards the end of last season and beginning of this one, though he has since found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

It has been suggested that the 24-year old could be used as a makeweight that would see Cherries striker Callum Wilson join Spurs, though Mauricio Pochettino is believed to have had second thoughts over that.

Still, the Three Lions midfielder is thought to be hopeful of making his own move to the South Coast over the course of this summer.

Should Mason be kept on as a squad rotation player?
