Spurs ready to seal huge deal for prolific Arsenal target, Levy hits breakthrough

After a busy weekend watching Euro 2016 in the Transfer Tavern, the North London locals have reverted to their jabs, jest and jibes.

Now, with one of the locals having come across reports from Football Insider, both the Spurs and Arsenal fans propping up the bar have been met with pretty huge move.

They claim that Spurs are within hours of clinching the £16.5m signing of AZ Alkmaar forward Vincent Janssen, after chariman Daniel Levy sanctioned the deal.

The 22-year old has also been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, though was unhappy when his current charges rejected a recent offer from White Hart Lane.

Having missed out to arch rivals Chelsea over the signing of Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi, it will be a huge boost to manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Though Harry Kane is undoubtedly the main central striker at the club, the England international started all 38 Premier League games last term and looked burnt out during the Three Lions’ miserable EURO 2016 campaign.

Is Janssen enough to help Kane through the season?
