Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea fans have so little to agree on so often its even become a nuisance for the other punters in the Transfer Tavern.
So, it is almost ground breaking when the two sets of supporters around the pool tables in our famous four walls DO indeed agree on something.
Imagine our surprise.
That’s because, according to German outlet SportBild (via the Daily Express), Spurs working on a double deal that includes a former Blues star.
World Cup winning forward Andre Schurrle, previously of the West London giants, is said to be of interest to Mauricio Pochettino as he bids to draft in squad reinforcements.
Both sections of supporters agree this would be a good deal for Spurs, despite the German’s indifferent latter career with the Blues.
The 25-year old would appear to be a natural fit at White Hart Lane, able to play across the frontline and act as both cover and competition for Harry Kane in equal measure.
Spurs are also thought to be casting a watchful eye over Werder Bremen defender Jannik Vestergaard in an effort to strengthen his squad ahead of a busier schedule next term.
With Champions League football on the way and the club looking to maintain their place in the top four, reinforcements are essential.
Vestergaard is a Danish international central defender, who is also able to operate in defensive midfield berths.
