Spurs’ stunning transfer plans revealed as Pochettino lines up former star and lethal £20m Englishman

Now the FA Cup is all out of the way with, another season is over in the Transfer Tavern, though none of the debates have stopped. 

With the European Championships merely a few weeks away and what promises to be one of the most lavish transfer windows of all time, the fans propping up the bar tonight are about as busy checking the rumour mill as club bosses are in trying to lay foundations for next term.

One of those particular,Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino, wants to bring in four new players this summer in order to improve on their strong campaign, according to Football Insider.

Despite a disastrous end to the season, the Argentine led the club to Champions League football while crafting a vibrant young squad full of dynamic players.

Still, with a heftier schedule and increased expectation, the former Southampton coach will need to draft in reinforcements in order to act as both cover and competition in equal measure.

They are understood to be in the market for a striker, centre midfielder, a winger and a central defender.

While Harry Kane is undoubtedly the star man at White Hart Lane, the England international will need quality backup heading into another tough season.

Marseille forward Michy Batushayi has been linked, as well as Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

It is claimed the North London outfit remain keen on Victor Wanyama of Southampton, having previously tried to land him last year.

An option to provide natural width is also thought to be under consideration, while extra cover for the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Kevin Wimmer.
