Tottenham ‘adamant’ in-demand 26-year-old will play for them next season

While the local Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are gutted about all but losing the title to bitter rivals Chelsea this season, they’re excited about the future.

With a stadium move on the way and one of the most exciting young sides in Europe, the only thing that can crush the optimism of our north London locals is the idea of players leaving.

Kyle Walker has been linked with a move away from the club, much to the chagrin of our resident Lilywhites, though there has at least been a positive note from Bleacher Report.

They claim that, while Manchester United are reportedly interested in Danny Rose, those from Hotspur Way are said to be adamant they won’t let the England international depart.

Perhaps the best left-back in the country, the 26-year-old is a crucial figure at White Hart Lane and the idea of losing him is a scary one indeed.

However, much to their delight, it seems top brass are confident of keeping him.
