Tottenham: Fans aren’t concerned about a potential Christian Eriksen exit

Tottenham Hotspur fans have listed some of their targets after the news concerning Christian Eriksen’s future emerged on Tuesday.

At the time of writing this, Manchester United are keen on closing a deal for the Danish playmaker, with the player’s representatives hopeful a deal can be completed before the 5pm deadline on Thursday, according to the Daily Mail

This has got fans flocking to Twitter to give their thoughts on who the club should target as potential replacements, with Philippe Coutinho, Giovani Lo Celso and Paulo Dybala all popping up.

On Tuesday, Sky Sports linked Spurs with a move for Juventus star Dybala, saying the North London club had agreed on a fee for the Argentine.

Lo Celso has been tracked all summer long, and The Daily Record (via The Sun) are reporting that the club has agreed on a fee thought to be £55m.

Coutinho was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with Sky Sports also claiming Mauricio Pochettino’s side are leading the race for the Brazilian after a phonecall between the Argentine and the ex-Liverpool ace, who played for him at Espanyol. However, Sky Sports have now reported that Spurs have turned down the chance to sign him.

Nonetheless, fans don’t seem to mind the potential exit of Eriksen, as they have their sights firmly set on other players.

Here is a selection of tweets from Tottenham Hotspur fans following reports of Eriksen’s potential departure:
