Tottenham: Fans grow ever weary of Giovani Lo Celso deal following latest update

It feels like Tottenham have been close to signing Giovani Lo Celso for most of the transfer window.

BBC Sport reported back in May that the north London side had submitted a bid for the Real Betis midfielder, and nearly three months on from that initial story, Spurs appear no closer to announcing any sort of official confirmation regarding Lo Celso.

The latest update in Tottenham’s slow approach to acquiring the former PSG man comes from Duncan Castles of the Daily Record, who claims that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have finally agreed a deal with Betis for the signature of Lo Celso.

With the transfer window into its final week, some Tottenham fans have grown fatigued over a potential deal to bring Lo Celso to the English capital.

These supporters took to social media to vent their frustration over how slow the process has been to sign the Real Betis midfielder, and here is what some Spurs fans had to say on Twitter…

Spurs have only managed two signings this summer in the form of Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele, who joined for a club-record fee (per BBC Sport).
