Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have really enjoyed some of the football their side has played this season as they once again look to finish in the top four.
Indeed, the Lilywhites have proved they are no flash in the pan and are instead the real deal with Mauricio Pochettino at the helm.
Naturally, though, there has been growing fears around the club that some of their key stars and, indeed, their manager could leave in the near future with some of Europe’s biggest sides bound to come calling.
Pochettino, though, has moved to quash any rumours of him going to Barcelona, though, with him quoted by Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports on Twitter as saying:
Pochettino: “It was a coincidence. I’m an Espanyol fan. If Levy sacked me I couldn’t manage Barcelona.” #thfc

Certainly, then, this news was welcomed with a real sigh of relief by Spurs fans here by the bar who are keen to see their club’s progression continue.
It’s passed through this latest obstacle, then, and next up is surely winning the FA Cup and finishing in the top four.
