Tottenham Hotspur: Fans rave over transfer update on Ryan Fraser

Tottenham Hotspur are working on an offer to entice Ryan Fraser this summer, according to Football Insider via @thespursweb.
Fraser’s contract with Bournemouth is set to expire in June and Spurs are battling London rivals Arsenal for his signature, as he will be available as a free agent when his deal runs out. However, it appears that the Lilywhites could have an advantage, as a source told Football Insider that the Lilywhites are ready to offer the 26-year-old a lucrative contract.
Earlier this year, the Daily Star revealed that Spurs are leading the race to sign the Cherries star, which could work out in Jose Mourinho’s favour in the future.
Should Daniel Levy sign Ryan Fraser?
Yes
No
Although he has struggled to hit his best form for Eddie Howe’s side this season, with just one goal and four assists, it is worth mentioning that he scored seven goals and created 14 assists in the Premier League last season, a tally which was bettered only by former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Moreover, the Scottish international could be a dependable asset as he last picked up an injury back in 2015. Mourinho’s side have been hit by a string of injuries to the wide forwards, which resulted in a number of poor performances.
Although Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn have recently returned from spells on the sidelines, signing Fraser would provide Mourinho with a useful deputy to reduce the risk of injury.
Unsurprisingly, loads of Spurs fans raved over the “quality” transfer update, with one supporter tweeting that he is a “decent player” and another adding that the Scotsman could potentially be an “unreal signing”

Quality player if it’s on a free in this market

Unreal signing if it’s on a free 🤯

Everyone saying, “We need to be signing better players”, you do realise everyone’s skint and the transfer window is going to be dead? A few decent frees along with having Kane, Sonny, Sissoko and Bergweijn returning, plus Cantwell for a reasonable fee, would be a decent result.

Fits the Spurs profile & is a good player but isn’t a starter.

Decent player with his best years ahead of him if managed correctly. Save our money for holjbjerg and Aaron’s whilst also adding depth in the final 3rd. Get it done.

Decent squad player – if he comes on a “free” I say why not ?
