Lots of Tottenham fans have been reacting to some footage of the Dutch under-21 team discussing Oliver Skipp, as they complained about the youngster’s quality and even compared him to Barcelona’s Frenkie De Jong.

Skipp probably hasn’t made as big of an impact as he would have liked to this season, playing just eight times in total and only making four appearances in the Premier League. However, it’s easy to forget the midfielder is only 19 given he made his full top-flight debut under Mauricio Pochettino back in December 2018.

He has played three times for England’s under-21 side this campaign, most notably in a 2-1 defeat to the Netherlands back in November. Via Football.London, a documentary following the young Oranje side shows a conversation in their changing room after their win, in which the players refer to Skipp as “annoying” due to his quality, saying he “keeps turning like Frenkie”.
