Tottenham: Fans react to update on Hugo Lloris injury

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has undergone surgery on his left elbow.
Should Tottenham replace Lloris ASAP?
Yes

No

The French goalkeeper sustained the injury in Spurs’ 3-0 loss to Brighton at the Amex Stadium in October.
Lloris, 32, landed awkwardly on his arm attempting to catch a cross which ended up in the back of his net as his side fell to a crushing defeat.
The World Cup winner has been replaced in the squad by Argentina international Paulo Gazzaniga, who is yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
Spurs have had a tough start to the 2019/20 season, suffering heavy defeats at the hands of Brighton and Bayern Munich, as well as bowing out of the Carabao Cup on penalties at the hands of League Two Colchester United.
According to the club website, it wasn’t initially thought that Lloris needed surgery, but the club went ahead with the procedure after further examination.
Despite the setback, the Frenchman is set to return in early 2020.
Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to the news:
Hoping for a speedy recovery 🙏🏼

Terrible news. Let’s hope he recovers soon, however based on this, we won’t see Hugo until next season.
It is paramount to our pursuit of success that we find a world class replacement as soon as possible (January).
City upgraded to Ederson, Liverpool to Alisson.
Now us.
