Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to their 0-0 draw at Watford, and they can’t quite believe how wasteful Serge Aurier was during the clash, with one supporter labelling him a ‘Sunday league player’.
Spurs came oh-so-close to securing a precious three points away from home at Vicarage Road, as a late scramble in the box saw the ball cleared just millimetres from crossing the line.
If truth be told however, it may have been more than Jose Mourinho’s side deserved had they won it, as barring an early spell of pressure from the visitors they were far from their best.
Paul Gazzaniga saved the day with a save from Troy Deeney’s penalty while Giovani Lo Celso performed well, but one man who endured a difficult afternoon was Aurier. Per Sofascore, the Ivory Coast international lost possession a shocking 29 times, five more than any other player (Troy Deeney, 24) and 13 more than any other Spurs player (Dele Alli, 16).
He completed just 78% of his overall passes, and the Twitter reactions down below were stunned when one fan tried to claim the 27 year-old had played well…
Is that a joke? I lost track of the amount of times he lost the ball

One tackle!!!!! And he was brilliant? He is a car crash. He brings nothing but fear when I see his name on the team sheet. He is by far the worst full back we have had in 40 years I’ve witnessed.

Have we already seen the best of Harry Kane?
