Though they’ve lost just one of their Premier League games this season, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been in a dour mood of late.
Out of the Champions League and looking unlikely to challenge for the title again, many of their summer signings don’t look like working out, which was an area Mauricio Pochettino previously proved very clever in.
The major one of those appears to be Moussa Sissoko, who is proving all the Newcastle United fans in the Transfer Tavern right, considering the fact they laughed when Spurs paid £30m for him.
Publicly criticised by Pochettino for his attitude, the Frenchman has had little impact since touching down on Hotspur Way and reports emanating out Italy linking him away have been met with shrugged shoulders from our north London locals.
According to Calcio Mercato, the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan are all STILL keen on the 27-year-old, despite his poor form at White Hart Lane.
Interested parties are believed to be weighing up loan moves with obligations to buy, with Spurs unlikely to sell him on the cheap at this stage.
Just how bad has Sissoko been? Let us know below…
