Still unbeaten, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are dreaming once again about a potential Premier League title.
Though their season stalled somewhat, however, ever since they beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, drawing every game since that barnstorming performance at White Hart Lane.
Speaking of stalling, reports from the Sun today have given the north London locals something to think about for sure.
According to their report, the club have put contract talks with star striker Harry Kane on hold after being locked in discussions, reportedly hitting a stalemate.
Undoubtedly the post boy on Hotspur Way, the England international is under contract with his boyhood charges until 2020, though is ‘only’ thought to command £60k-per-week.
While that won’t ever leave him short of a few quid, the 23-year-old is way behind summer signing Moussa Sissoko in the pay structure, with the Frenchman understood to rake in £95k-per-week.
Will Kane stay at Spurs? Let us know below…
