Tottenham are hoping to get their season back on track after a week saw them booted out of two cup competitions.
For a club of Tottenham’s stature, they’re so desperate to now have some trophies to show for their improvements on the pitch, which, again this season, now seems very unlikely.
The future of manager Mauricio Pochettino is unknown as well considering his previous links to Manchester United and Real Madrid, leaving Tottenham with potentially a lot of work to do in the summer.
First and foremost, new faces need to be brought into the team, for Spurs to have any chance at rekindling their chances of winning a trophy next season.
Not just any signings either, Tottenham need to prove their big-club mentality and aspire to sign some of the games top players, like PSG’ Adrien Rabiot for example.
Rabiot, (who is valued at £45 million on Transfermarkt) is a terrific player who would undoubtedly add so much quality to Tottenham’s midfield.
Having missed out on the Frenchman in January due to the 23-year-old saying no to any potential advances, Tottenham must re-group and produce an offer PSG and Adrien Rabiot can’t refuse in the summer.
Simply put, because Rabiot would be a game-changer for Tottenham and a very impressive signing indeed.
The Frenchman has once again been in impressive form this season, appearing 20 times so far this season, popping up with two goals and two assists.
In front of goal isn’t where Rabiot usually gets the most joy but sat behind Christian Eriksen could give Tottenham the defensive cover and athleticism they need to compete further for a trophy.
Should Tottenham try and sign Adrien Rabiot again this summer… Let us know!
