Tottenham have bossed pre-season so far without the signing of any player and despite the absence of nine first team players who were on World Cup duty.
Spurs impressed in spells last season, overcoming their hatred of playing at Wembley to making the stadium their own in order to gain Champions League qualification once again. Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli were three of the main performances like other years but although Tottenham have a great starting 11, their squad is depleted and needs additions to spark renewed life into the club.
A player that could be a really impressive signing for Tottenham based on his form last season is 21-year-old Spanish attacker Mikel Oyarzabal, a player valued at £31.5 million on Transfermarkt.
The winger burst onto the scene for Real Sociedad just two seasons ago but has since made his international debut for Spain and has been extremely impressive in La Liga.
Last season was no exception as Oyarzabal went on to score 12 goals and provide 7 assists in the league for a team that finished 12th in the league. If he can do it with an average Spanish outfit, with the added quality at Tottenham, his career could elevate to the next level under the terrific guidance of Mauricio Pochettino.
The 21-year-old is played anywhere in attack although predominately on the left-wing, he can also play on the right and as an attacking midfielder. Spain have already noticed the immense talent he possesses by giving him his first international cap and if he progresses the way he is going, Spain will yet again have another top talent to their squad and so should Tottenham if they pursue his signature.
