Tottenham Hotspur: Fans agree with Darren Bent’s verdict that Mauricio Pochettino is not world class

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have agreed with former striker Darren Bent’s verdict that ex-manager Mauricio Pochettino is not world class.
Speaking in a debate with presenter and Arsenal fan Laura Woods on the talkSPORT Breakfast Show (via The Spurs Web), Bent claimed that whilst the 48-year old is a very good manager, he cannot be deemed as world class.
Reflecting on Pochettino’s time at the north London club, the Argentine managed the Lilywhites in 293 games in all competitions, with the team winning 160 of those, drawing 60 and losing 73, scoring 559 goals and conceding 322, according to Transfermarkt. That gives him a winning ratio of nearly 55 per cent, so considering he won over half of his matches as coach, one can argue that this is impressive.
However, ‘Poch’ never won a major trophy with Spurs, but did guide them to the Champions League final last season, where they eventually lost out 2-0 to Premier League rivals Liverpool.
These THFC supporters agreed with Bent as they also believe that Pochettino is not world class, with one labelling him a “serial bottler“:
He’s right. Serial bottler

This is correct. You can’t call a manager world class if he has never won anything.

Agree with Darren, he hasn’t won a trophy so he can’t be classified as world-class.
