Tottenham Hotspur: Fans angered by Christian Eriksen’s Tweet

A selection of Tottenham fans have been left red-faced by Christian Eriksen’s latest Twitter update.
The 27-year-old helped Denmark in securing their space at next summer’s European Championships, playing 90 minutes as the Dane’s drew 1-1 with the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.
The result sees Denmark qualify for the prestigious competition and means that Ireland will have to battle it out in the play-offs to obtain their own spot at the tournament next year.
Eriksen was unsurprisingly in good spirits after the game – as you would be – and uploaded a photo of the national team squad celebrating together to his personal Twitter page.
The post has angered a few Spurs fans, however, who are growing tired of the Scandinavian’s lacklustre performances for Tottenham this season.
Eriksen has only scored and assisted once this term and looks set to depart the club in the summer for free when his contract expires.
Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to the playmaker’s post on Twitter:
Wish you were so excited about playing on club level

Shame you don’t care as much for when you’re playing for the club that pays your wages!
