The Colombian international has over four years left on his contract according to Sacks’ Twitter post, meaning that the north London club would consider themselves to be in a decent position regarding the player’s future and would also be able to command a sizeable fee for his services if they were to sell.
Sanchez averages 1.9 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, 4.6 clearances and 0.9 blocks per Premier League game this season which are amongst the highest in the Spurs team (via Whoscored).
The 23-year old has made a total of 42 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this campaign and averages a rating of 6.83 according to Whoscored.
However, many Spurs supporters are calling for the club to sell Sanchez for the right price, with one fan demanding ‘£60+m’ from Real Madrid and others claiming that they would ‘snap their hands off’. These were the most passionate reactions on Twitter:
Sell him hes a liability
