Tottenham Hotspur fans have mixed views over the club potentially signing Luka Jovic in the January transfer window.
The Serbian striker signed for Real Madrid in the summer transfer window for €65 million (£54.3m) from Eintracht Frankfurt (The Guardian), but he has struggled to make an impact in the Spanish capital.
Is Moussa Sissoko now one of the best midfielders in England?
Indeed, despite making 15 appearances in La Liga so far this season, he has started just three games, with his only goal of the campaign coming in a 5-0 win against Leganes (Transfermarkt).
He has really struggled to force his way past Karim Benzema in the pecking order, with the Frenchman in good form this season having scored 12 league goals (Transfermarkt).
As a result, Calciomercato are reporting that the Spanish giants are considering loaning the 21-year-old out in January in order to try and get him more game time.
Spurs were keen on signing the player in the summer before his move to Madrid (Sport via Sport Witness) and the Telegraph recently reported that Jose Mourinho would be keen on signing a backup striker in January.
However, whilst some Tottenham fans would like to see Jovic sign for the club next month, others aren’t quite as keen on the Serbian.
Here is what some said on Twitter, with one fan suggesting he would be another Vincent Janssen if he joined…
Victor Janssen 2.0
