Tottenham Hotspur: Many fans loved Mourinho’s gesture to starlet Troy Parrott after Burnley win

Tottenham’s 5-0 thrashing of Burnley on Saturday will have fans purring over their future under Jose Mourinho. Aside from the impressive forward play, it’s Mourinho’s first clean sheet in charge and that will have been one reason why he was smiling so much after the game.
After all five goals were scored, he brought on 17-year-old Troy Parrott for his Premier League debut and then jokingly took the match ball from Son Heung-min to gave it to the youngster when the game was over. Transfermarkt noted Parrott has made four appearances in the UEFA Youth League this season and has scored six goals and made one assist, helping him earn his first few minutes in the Premier League.
Spurs news aggregator Daily Hotspur posted a clip of the moment Mourinho gave the youngster the match ball, and fans were quick to show love for the manager. They replied to the tweet to say just how likeable he’s become now he’s in charge of their team.
